![]() The thought of helping to spread the gospel message in written form, while at the same time having the opportunity to interact with those of like beliefs, persuaded me to come to Mission Printing as a volunteer worker. When I was originally told by Brother Bill Sarratt, who is now gone to receive his great reward, that volunteer workers were needed, I was hesitant to respond. After all, a retired salesman knows so little about what takes place in a print shop. I was concerned that I'd have nothing to contribute to this important work. To my surprise and complete delight, I quickly found out tha teven with my limited experience, there was a place I could make myself useful. No, my job is not important like those of the printers, other machine operators, those that put the books together, or mail them out, but before the material is sent out, it must be packed. So, with my friends I've made here, we make the material ready to be mailed. I go home in the afternoon satisfied that I've made a contribution to the Lord's cause.
It is my prayer, and I'm sure the same can be said for everyone that works at Mission Printing, that the wonderful Christian literature we send out each week will influence at least one soul somewhere in the world to obey the gospel. Larry Benedict Larry Benedict is one of our regular volunteers that has been with us over one year. Bro. Benedict comes every Wednesday and fills the boxes that will be shipped to locations throughout the world. Larry Benedict is a faithful member of the Brown Trail Church of Christ. |
REMINDER: If you are interested in volunteering your time and taking over the responsibility of mowing the grounds of Mission Printing, please let us know.

Many are coming to the Lord because of your efforts. Vacaville, CaliforniaWe have received wonderful responses to our requests for literature. Your gifts to the men here in this prison have brought tremendous blessings. We have also discovered that a good number of the men, after reading and studying, sent the literature home so that their family may read and study the same materials. This has allowed a spiritual conversation to take place betwen the prisoners and their families. In this age of weak budgets and financial stress, we are very appreciative of the sacrifice that you and your organization has made on our behalf. |

“I gave a copy to a young woman, who gave it to her sister, who then took it to another district to a Christian youth fellowship meeting. Everybody wanted a copy.” Massacre, DominicaGreetings in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. “So that you may become blameless and pure, children of God whithout fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life&lrdquo; (Philippians 2:16). In this verse is seen both the beauty and the purpose of the Christian life. What I would like to emphasize in this lesson is the duty of the Christian to "hold out the word of life" to others. If we lose sight of this, the very existence of the chirch is in jeopardy. The religion of the Lord Jesus Christ is essentially and preeminently a taught and learned religion. Jesus said, “They shall all be taught by God. Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me” (John 6:45). The word teach is used more than 200 times in the New Testament; and there are many related words such as: tell, train, instruct, guide, discipline, command, and others, which are used hundreds of times, and which say the church is a school, and each one is a teacher, an instructor. It is true that each one of us has his own place, how own work, his own fuction as member of the body of Christ; but each Christian is, in some way, a teacher of the gospel. He must be. The Christian life is much more than just assembling at a church building several times a week. But even there, one must be more than a spectator as at a sports event or some other entertainment performance. We are not just present, nor just onlookers, people who sit and watch. We must be more engaged and involved than this. OUR CHIEF AIMWhile it is vital, indispensable, to our spiritual life to meet with other Christians and worship God in honor of Christ, our purpose in life must be to share the gospel with others to the end that they may be saved. |
Our objective must be to cause others to understand. To do that, we must instruct them in the word of God, we must show them the way by our example, we must direct and guide them by both. Jesus said, &ldqup;Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations. . .&rdquo (Matthew 28:19). WHO IS CHARGED WITH THE

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to get involved with Mission Printing. We had a very good time and shared lots of good memories that we will take with us forever. As a group, we got together and talked about the things that we thought we gained from the trip. We all agreed that it felt good to help each other. We also found that we could accomplish great things with very little sleep. We were all deeply inspired by Brother Dollarhide's personal childhood story. We were also inspired by the dedication and the example set by the senior workers. |
We discovered that hard work builds a good reputation. By working hard, we grew together as a group, socially and spiritually. We learned a little about others and ourselves by the awards that Brother Dollarhide distributed to us. But most of all there is a satisfaction that can be found by serving others. We thank you for the opportunity provided by Mission Printing. May Christ continue to be glorified by your good works and the works of those who serve with you.

Going to Mission Printing is fun! They do a very good thing there that a lot of people do not think about doing. I liked getting to sort all of the pages of the booklets. It was fun listening to all of the people chat while we worked. I want to go back and help again. -Keely McCrady The work they do at Mission Printing is very important. I like to go and help there. It is a lot of fun working with the different people. There are different jobs you can do and I usually help with packing boxes. I am going to go back and help again this month. -Keegan McCrady We enjoyed eating pizza and working with our youth group at Mission Printing. We stuffed envelopes and compiled short books to send to several countries all over the world to teach them the gospel of Christ. We |
look forward to meeting there again for work and fellowship. -Chester and Sarah McCoy At Mission Printing, I always have fun. Whether it is packing boxes, stapling booklets, running the trimming machine, or collating, it's always enjoyable. It is always great that we can help put together spiritual material to send to people around the world who can use it. Mission Printing is a great work.
-Benjamin Bruce When we go to Mission Printing, I usually collate and count in the front room. My favorite part about Mission Printing is when we all get together at lunch and sing. I think it is wonderful to see people that care enough about saving souls to print books and pamphlets for missionaries in other countries to use for free.
