Your Beliefs: For God ...
or the Diversity of the Masses?

There was once a great pianist who was givng a concert in a large concert hall. When he finished the concert, everyone in the place stood up and gave him a standing ovation. Well, almost everyone. There was one old man in the front row that didn't stand, but everyone else was on their feet cheering wildly.

When the pianist walked off the stage, he was crying. His manager asked him what was wrong and he said, “Didn't you see the man in the first row who wasn't standing and wasn't applauding?”

The manager said, “Sure, I saw him. But that was the only person who was not standing and cheering. Why worry about that old man?”

Then, the pianist said, “But you don't understand. That man was the composer of the music that I played tonight. He is the only one who counts. He is the only one who knows what the piece is supposed to sound like.”

Who do you worship? Who do you follow? Who do you believe in? Who died for you?

Maybe these are some of the questions that we should be asking ourselves before choosing our path and the path for our congregations. It is becoming very apparent that many congregations in the brotherhood are seeking the approval of the masses instead of the one that designed the pattern. Diversity is great until it dictates what truth we should follow and how we should worship our God.

“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance for you serve the Lord Christ” (Col. 3:23-24). Our congregations should proclaim the truth that comes from knowing God and His word, not the word or whim of he multitude.

Many hunger for the cheers of the crowd when they actually need to be listening for only the applause of God. If God says, “Well done,” it doesn't matter what the rest of the world says about you.

Stand firm in the faith! That is what Paul writes to the Christians at Colosse. Paul states in Col. 1:21–22, “And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight.” There is a condition to being presented in this holy manner which is found in the next verse: “if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard.”

Is Christ's body important to you? Or, are you more concerned about the world's “church?” I hope and pray that you answered YES to the first question and NO to the second! Satan is attacking the church for which Jesus died. He isn't attacking us with the weapons that he used in the first century church. He's simply using our egos and our own designated self worth. Our worth doesn't come from building great buildings or becoming “mega” churches. The Christians worth comes from staying true to God and our only Savior, Jesus Christ. We do not need and must not change the body of Christ to make ourselves look more appealing. When we teach the truth and follow the truth, there is no makeover that will improve our appearance. In fact, all that the makovers are accomplishing is gathering condemnation from the Creator.

From the Heart of Loyce Grubbs Horn
(Dallas, TX)

As the widow of Isaac Don Horn, I am sending you this donation. He died of cancer in 2007, ten days before his 90th birthday.

I attended the School of Practical Evangelism in 1979-80, and Don attended classes the following year. I got to hear of the pans for Mission Printing from Brother Caskey. I also got to see the actual

fulfillment of his dream. Don also was a firm believer in the good Mission Printing is doing worldwide.

When we went to Swaziland as missionaries based at teh preaching school, Guy loaded us up with material that proved so valuable to the preachers in training.

Mission Printing Excited about
Summer Visits from Youth Groups

We have several youth groups that have made plans to work with Mission Printing at various times throughout the summer. We also have several youth groups that have stated that they will be a part of the ministry during the summer, and they are trying to work out the dates. We receive great joy from young people involved in spread in spreading the gospel. Our senior workers get a “boost” from spending time with these young missionaries. The young people that spend time at Mission Printing leave with a much deeper view of what it means to grow old in Christ. They realize that you actually don't grow old when you're in Christ; you just grow stronger and more excited about your relationship with Jesus!

If your youth group or young people could benefit from a visit to Mission Printing, just call or email us when you want to come. We have plenty of work for everyone. Don't miss out. If there are any young men that would like to lead the devotional talk at the lunch hour any day during the sumer, we encourage you to let us know. Mission Printing is striving to mature the future of the church today. This is an opportunity for you and for Mission Printing!

Feroze Baksh

I pray that you all are doing well both in body and spirit. We received the shipment of materials you sent to us and are very grateful. We had a campaign and Gospel meeting July 6–10, 2009 and many of the materials were used. Nineteen souls surrendered their lives to Jeus Christ and were immersed in water fo forgiveness of sins.

We are also doing follow-up work in the Ann's Grove area and are using the material you sent. We are also very grateful for the Jesus Loves Us series that is being used as our children's class cirriculum both at Ann's Grove and Bee Hive. The songbooks are great too and we can use some more. THANKS for the materials. They are a great source of help to us in the work here. When you can, please send us more materials especially the children series and songbooks.

Ennerdale, South Africa
Frank Paul

We would like to thank you for your thoughtfulness in sending us study material, songbooks, and Bibles. The resources that Mission Printing sends are a great tool in spreading the Gospel of Christ.

Guy Caskey was a great man. He visited Ennerdale many times and he always lifted us up with powerful Bible studies.

Mkushi, Zambia

It was amazing to receive such a quantity of literature from Mission Printing. The material will ease our door–to–door evangelism. We are more than grateful and inspired by the love of Mission Printing.

Godofredo (Godie) Policarpio

I would like to inform you that we received the printed materials that you sent. Thank you very much. We have already used them in our Bible studies. They are a great help to everyone!

Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria
Church of Christ Uniben/Ubth
Idehen Osagiede

I write to express our gratitude to you for the wonderful support by way of sound biblical material that we received from Mission Printing.

The Material ha simproved our evangelistic efforts in our communities. The latest of our campaigns was the Let the Bible Speak 2010 which was held on the campus of the University of Benin City. We distributed literature and conducted “open air” lessons. We reached approximately 5,000 souls with God's unfailing truth.

May God richly bless Mission Printing as you continue in your noble task of “world evangelism by the printed page.”

Gideon Madyira

Thank you very much for the material that you have been sending to us. The studies are of great help in spreading the soul saving Truth in God's word.

Would you please send us many more boxes of your materials? There is a great need of your Bible studies at Gokwe Prison, Gokwe Hospital, and in the community in which we live. There is also a great need in the schools in our communities. We have a special requet of 50 Bibles from Gokwe Prison. Gokwe Hospital is also requesting Bibles, as well as other church members. Through the use of your materials we managed to establish six congregations around Gokwe. All the members in these congregations are also requesting Bibles and more teaching materials.

Seke, Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe
Conrad Tafirenyika Taiga

We greet you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Hope all is well with you there are you tirelessly serve in the Lord's Vineyard.

Words fail us to be able to express how we appreciate your great work and as you send us the scripturally sound Bible studies. We continue to use them prayerfully and many people enjoy reading these and coming to know what God wants them to know. Many have been brought to Christ through the gifts from Mission Printing.

I go to hospitals, schools, and many other gatherings where we hand out the material. I carry the books and encourage brethren to take as many as they are able so that they can share with other people.

Our people love reading and we take your studies very serious.

Please, I kindly ask you to continue sending us as much material as Mission Printing is able. We will use them to the glory of God.

Aba, Abia State, Nigeria

Ugbo–Odogwu, Enugu State, Nigeria
Church of Christ
Tochukwu Boniface Obiekwe

The entire congregation of Ugbo–Odogwu of Enugu State really appreciates your effort in sending us tracts and other evangelical materials. These books are really wonderful, educating, and inspiring. We pray that God continues to bless you and strengthen you as you labor in this good and beneficial work.

From the Heart of a W.B.S. Teacher

Ruth Orr

Lewisberg, TN

As a WBS worker, we have many baptisms, and I like to send What Every “New” Christian Should Know to each one. We recently had sixty Muslims baptized as well as others. I am out of these tracts and could use 150 to 200 more, if you could spare them. I also give out the tract titled Why Not Be a Muslim? to hundreds of lost souls.

I was in Accra, Ghana at the Nsawam

Church of Christ last week with Willie Gley. I helped stamp hundreds of the books that they got from Mission Printing.

It is wonderful to see congregations all over Ghana and Nigeria using these wonderful tracts.

Thank you in advance for sending the material that I am ordering. Please send as many as possible of the ones that I have marked.
